Assistant Producer Paul Burton was one of the company’s first members of staff when he joined in August 2006. Since then he has played a key role in the development and production of a number of the company’s investigations for Channel 4 News and RTE’s Prime Time. He has also played a key production role in BBC NI’s acclaimed fly-on-the wall prisons series ‘Life Inside’, as well as having devised a new factual format, called ‘No Place Like Home’, also for BBC NI.
Before joining the company he was a newspaper journalist, having been published in a number of regional and national newspapers including The Belfast Telegraph and numerous Sundays. He has a postgraduate qualification in Journalism as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and a Masters in International Politics from Queen’s University Belfast.
