Ruth O’Reilly set up Below the Radar with Trevor after working with him in current affairs in UTV and having produced the two UTV programmes which won Royal Television Society awards. She has since applied her experience and distinctive approach to film-making on most of the company’s productions and picked up its first prize – from the Justice Media Awards in Dublin – for The Devil in Detail. Her 20 years in journalism started in The Irish News in Belfast and encompasses newspapers, TV, radio as well as a four-year stint with the Press Association in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
